Right now, I am a M.S. Biostatistics student at UCLA. My interests lie with HIV, survival analysis, infectious disease, and graphic display.
Beforehand, I graduated from UNC with a B.S. in Biology and a B.S.P.H. in Biostatistics. I became proficient in SAS, genetics, and biology research. I taught 5 semesters of a core biology class as a Supplemental Instructor, where I was nominated for an award by peers for my teaching.
Going farther back in time, I grew up just north of Pittsburgh, PA where I began my commitment to public service. I co-founded Beautiful Beaders, an organization that made and sold jewelry for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, I formed the collegiate branch of AnimalKind at UNC. I was Circle K‘s president and former Fundraising Chair. I’ve been recognized through awards, nominations, and articles, some of which can be found at links below.
Success takes time and hard work.
