I worked with Eric Youngstrom in the Psychology Department at UNC on Conduct Disorder and Hypomanic Personality Disorder.
I and three others developed a manuscript comparing the use of the Antisocial Process Screening Device (APSD) and Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL) for diagnosing Conduct Disorder in both academic and clinical settings using Receiver Operator Curves (ROC) and Diagnostic Likelihood Ratio (DiLR). This project, unfortunately, was dropped from the priority list and did not make it to publication; three presentations on the research were given. I was the sole statistician and coder for the team and have provided my research output. While R is well-known for graphics, SAS is better equipped for testing scientific questions, so I developed code in SAS to produce high-quality ROC graphs.
My other work includes a Factor Analysis for the Hypomanic Personality Scale in which literature had suggested 3-6 factors previously. Our analysis suggests 6 factors exist using Parallel Factor Analysis. Rachael continued this research and presented an updated version in San Fransisco the summer of 2018.
